Description

Completed in 2006, this cooperative project with the City of Virginia Beach, totaled approximately $431,383. A grant of $36,000 was provided from the VSRFDF to assist in the improvement of the fishing pier and access walkway. Most common saltwater species may be caught in this area.

The Little Island District Park offers visitors other amenities such as paved parking, handicapped accessible restroom facilities, beach access , sheltered picnic tables with grills, and playground areas.

Fishing Pier Fees:
Sightseeing: $1 resident / $2 non-resident
Fishing: $8 resident / $10 non-resident
Weekly pier fishing pass: $25 resident / $35 non-resident
Annual pier fishing pass: $100
*Children 9 and under are free with paying adult (for fishing)
