MAP #1: Virtual Tour of Virginia Beach

How to Use This Map:

In this map view, you are starting on at the end of I-264 heading eastward towards the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

To reach the oceanfront, you need to move the “marker man” in the bottom left viewing grid to the right (east) towards the beach and Atlantic Avenue.

Go ahead and move him along the road to the right (eastward)…

Once you are on Atlantic Avenue, move your marker man up (north) and down (south) the street to view the different hotels and shops. You can use the “Street View” in the upper left hand viewing area to view 360 degrees in any direction.

CHALLENGE: Let’s see if you can make it to 31st street and find the statue of King Neptune!

MAP #2: Take a Virtual Bike Ride down Atlantic Avenue (Beach Street USA)!

How to Use This Map:

In this map, you are starting at Waterman’s Restaurant on 5th Street and going North to the Hilton on 31st Street on Atlantic Avenue.

This is the “Main Beach Street” of Virginia Beach.

If you click the “Start Animation” button in the upper left corner of the map, you will slowly move towards your destination at 100 yard intervals… stopping for 5 seconds at each interval. Check out the route and take a look around in the street view map on the left!

You can even put in your own Starting Address and Destination Address and it will plot your own route!!
