Symphonicity will present its 35th annual offering of the Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along to the Hampton Roads community on Saturday, December 23rd, at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts. The concert will begin at 8 PM.
Symphonicity’s Messiah Sing-Along is a free concert in which the audience performs the choral sections of the Christmas portion of Messiah by Handel and four professional soloists sing the solo arias and recitatives. Symphonicity’s new Music Director and Conductor, Daniel W. Boothe, will conduct the orchestra while Mark C. Hudgins, Executive Director of Virginia Musical Theatre, will lead the audience of singers. Singers with scores will be seated on the first floor. Observers may sit in the Mezzanine or Balcony sections.
