This is the south end of we call Beach Street USA.  It is the main portion of the boardwalk. It stretches 10 blocks from the Hampton Inn Virginia Beach – Oceanfront South to the Capes Hotel at 20th Street..  A lot of the major boardwalk events will stretch this far down the boardwalk.  This stretch of boardwalk also includes the 17th Street Park / Stage which is right next to the Dairy Queen Griil and Chill and holds a lot of events throughout the summer. The Virginia Beach Fishing Pier is also located near 14th Street so there is always something to see.
