The Virginia Beach Boardwalk is a 40 Street long, paved boardwalk.  There are very few events that are massive enough to stretch more than 10 blocks, let alone expand to take up most of the boardwalk area.  These events are mega-events and Virginia Beach has several of them each year.

The great thing about events that take up most of the boardwalk area is that you don’t really need to worry about where to park. Just find a parking spot along the street or in one of the municipal parking lots and walk to the boardwalk.  Chances are that you will run right into one of these events no matter where you are.
