The beach from 30th Street to 40th Street is a calmer part of the beach.  With the construction of some new hotels along Atlantic Avenue in 2012-2014, this stretch of sand is sure to heat up with plenty of events over the next few years. The statue of King Neptune at 31st Street rules this part of the beach so you always have the added security of having the god of the sea at your back!
