Kids love our swimming pool, 3′ to 5′ depths. Many campsites are waterfront, and you can freshwater fish from your own site with a valid VA license (purchase at Walmart). We are approximately three miles from Sandbridge Beach and ten miles from the resort strip at Virginia Beach. Play horseshoes in the playground area while kids swing. Purchase campfire wood and roast marshmallows at your grassy, shaded campsite. Our restrooms are clean and private.
First Landing State Park Campgrounds
First Landing State Park offers opportunities to explore a unique habitat featuring lagoons, large cypress trees and rare plants. More than 19 miles of hiking trails wind through the natural area, guided kayak ecological tours allow exploration of the marshes and bays, and the visitor center exhibits explain much about this coastal environment. Climate-controlled cabins, campsites, picnic areas, a swimming beach, boat ramps, kayak rentals and tours. This place is truly a natural wonder right in our backyard.
