The name of this hotel may be long but its distance to the beach is not. It is not only right next to the boardwalk but being located on 33rd street it is also right next to some of the major events and attractions that go on at the 31st Street Park / Stage (King Neptune Park). Many guests rate the customer service at the Hilton Garden very highly but they also enjoy the spectacular restaurant (LagerHead’s) and pools (both indoor and outdoor). The outdoor pool is considered to be one of the best at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
BEST WESTERN PLUS Sandcastle
Just like the above hotels, this beach resort and hotel is located in a prime place, right off the boardwalk at the waterfront on 13th Street. The rates may be a little bit better for this hotel but it certainly isn’t lacking in anything. Great views of the oceanfront and it is only a short walk to all of the south end action like the 17th Street Park / Stage by the Dairy Queen, the 7th Street Stage and 5th Street Stage to catch great events and music throughout the summer. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a small indoor pool.
Ramada Virginia Beach Oceanfront
The Ramada is still alive and kicking right here in Virginia Beach. Located in the heart of the south end of the boardwalk at 6th street, nothing beats this location when there is a beach concert at the 5th Street Beach Stage or the small but fantastic 7th Street Stage. The hotel overlooks the boardwalk with easy access to the beach and local shops. Is is also a prime place to be if you want to expolre the Rudee Inlet. The Ramada has one of the most popular restaurants located right downstairs… Mahi Mah’s Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Saloon. The restaurant is a local favorite and overlooks the ocean and boardwalk and is always a bustle of activity.
