SHADOWJACK is a trio of musicians from Virginia and New York who performed original and cover music extensively in the late 80's and early 90's in the SE VA area, and has since remained friends and cohorts performing off and on at local venues and concerts, accompanied on occasion by one or more very talented musicians known as the SHADOWBROTHERS BAND
These veteran performers have been entertaining in the Hampton Roads Area for over 25 years. They offer a positive and distinctly family-friendly combination of music and song, originals and covers, harmonies and stories, with a practiced and professional self-contained presentation, and a song catalogue spanning decades of music and a variety of styles. Perfect for concert,clubs, cabarets, summer decks and “Saturday Dances” the multi-instrumentalists & keyboard, overlaid with 3 part vocals through a high quality portable professional sound system (requiring a minimum of electrical power/set-up) can cover a lot of sounds and genres, & still fit in a compact performance area. The addition of Russell Scarborough, THE jazz/volume drummer kicks it up.

We have a pretty extensive pool of talent and an archive of previously recorded but unreleased, and written-but-not-recorded original material, and therein lies our focus going forward. And 2016 is the 35th Anniversary of the release of "Jack Of Hearts", and after revisiting some of the songs on that record, myself, with Jim Doyle and Dave Holding, both of whom performed on the original vinyl record, are discussing working towards a remake/re-performance of the best tracks from that record, while adding in the considerable talents of Karen, Woody, Curtis, Amy and our other friends. So, we are still in the game, performing locally ,just not shlepping tons of equipment and flying hundreds of miles...Thanks for your support!
