Melazzio is a Hampton Roads jazz trio consisting of Jennifer Gammill (vocals and flute), John Calisto (guitar), and Jordan Ponzi (bass), with a rotating percussionist or drummer. Melazzio specializes in straight ahead and Latin jazz, combining scintillating rhythms with smooth vocals and flute.

Their name is made from the words "melody," "jazz," and a nod to the Italian heritage of the group.
