Ian Foutz is a musician that has grown up all around music. From when he was 3 years old singing with his dad on stage to 14 years old when he got his first paying gig, he has always been in love with music and preforming. Ian is the son of local musician Mitch Foutz so it is only natural that he follow in his father’s footsteps. Growing up listening to all different kinds of music and being fascinated by the rock band KISS, Ian tries to bring that energy and excitement with him wherever he plays. Ian covers a wide variety of artists from John Mayer to The Cadillac Three and not only does he do covers but also has his own original songs. Ian release a 5 song EP titled Breaker in 2013. In 2014 Ian also received an endorsement from InTune Guitar Picks. Not only does Ian Play guitar and sing but he also is the Drummer and vocalist for the band Backwoods Company. Ian has been quoted saying, “ No matter if I’m playing to two people in a bar or to 300 people at the Norva, I will always bring the same energy and get everyone involved and high on life and music.” Going to an Ian Foutz show you will definitely be entertained because Ian goes above and beyond in his performances and tries not to be like any other solo acoustic artist.
