Acoustic with a hint of chill, Darrell Hawkins is a Singer Songwriter from Virginia Beach, Virginia with a unique musical style all his own that some would describe as both soft and sultry, yet thought provoking. From the early age of 12, Darrell was performing for his church every Sunday and has developed his talents over the years as both a phenomenal guitarist and strong vocalist. In addition to performing on the local music scene, Darrell is also a guitar instructor and soldier. While recently returning from a deployment in Iraq, Darrell took time to reflect on life experiences and write about his passions, his excitement is shown and expressed well in every performance. Some of his major influences include Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, John Legend, and Amos Lee as you will hear from his music. His love for music hasn't faded and continues to grow daily.
