counterfeit molly formed in 2001 and have played numerous shows both local (Virginia) and other east coast states from New York to Florida. Gained a strong fan base which continues to grow and have had the pleasure of opening for national touring acts such as Staind, The Smithereens, Jimmy's Chicken Shack, Tantric, Family Force 5, and Seven Mary Three. They released their self-titled first album in July 2004, released their second album in May 2007 titled "The Eternal Optimist", and released their third album "Subtext" in February 2009.
