Q: Where can you park at north of 42nd Street at night to go to the beach?

Added Details:

I see there is parking that most people use during the day can you park in the same spot at night?

Asked by: Adam A.

A:

Hi Adam,

The area north of 42nd Street is usually referred to as the “North End“.  It is mostly a residential area with side streets and houses on both sides of Atlantic Avenue.

There are beach access points on most side streets.  You can park anywhere along a side street and walk to the beach as long as the side street does not have a NO PARKING sign.

Be cautious and , look for signs and be considerate when you park and you should be fine to visit the beach anywhere along the North End.
