Unfortunately, skateboards are not permitted on either the Virginia Beach Boardwalk or the Bikepath.

You might see one from time to time, but it is not permitted.  We don’t really know the reasoning behind this.

Rollerskates are permitted and can be rented from the bike rental locations.
