In Short… ABSOLUTELY!

Virginia Beach is not like some oceanfront resort areas that you may have seen in that we do not have piers that extend out into the water with large amusement park rides and attractions on them.

However, we do have a variety of things to do for kids of all ages!

We aren’t sure of exactly the types fo things you are looking for, so it is difficult for us to give you much specific direction.  You should take a good look at the page for

and see everything that there is to offer.

If your children like waterparks, Virginia Beach has a huge water park just south of the oceanfront.  It is called Ocean Breeze Waterpark and is good for people of all ages from infants to grandparents!  It has dozens of things to do for children. We highly recommend it!

If you are looking for something very laid back and FREE, you could always go to Grommet Island Park at the southern end of the boardwalk and small kids can climb on all of the apparatuses there.

Virginia Beach does have a small Amusement Park called Atlantic Fun Park.  However, it doesn’t have very many rides to very small children.
